It’s those who buy that change the world.


People of today find it hard to translate their opinion into action. We’ll all write a letter of complaint if pushed but seldom take to the streets in protest. We’re worried about the environment but think nothing of taking a plane on holiday. But we really do want change.

We really do want fairness. Fairtrade’s new communication reminds us we can all be activists by using our shopping cart. After all, it’s those who use their wallet as a weapon that really change the world.
