About excrescences and infirmities.

To The Danish Pharmaceutical Association, it is quite clear that they are solving an important societal task as an advanced part of the healthcare system. However, from time to time, a debate about liberalisation flares up, which is more about money than about lives and limbs.

But for most people, health is actually just as important as the economy. And pharmacists represent a professionalism in relation to health that is difficult to replace with a “buy 2 get 3” offer on headache pills.

Therefore, the reputation efforts of The Danish Pharmacies did not become a political campaign about medication subsidies, but a communication about the excrescences and infirmities of people in a language that was neither Latin nor distancing.
