Purpose

The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain how we collect, protect and use personal information. This privacy policy is aimed at:

  • Individuals who have a professional relationship with Mensch
  • Applicants and candidates for positions at Mensch

Practice for processing applicant data

The purpose of processing applicant’s personal information is to gain insight into the candidate’s experience and skills to ensure correct recruitment. The recipients of the personal information are managers at Mensch. If you are an applicant for a job at Mensch, we process the following personal information about you:

  • Name, address, phone number, age.
  • Educational level, type of education, work experience, interests.

Information is not transferred to third countries. Incoming CVs are kept for a maximum of six months. Files with sensitive personal content are not attached in emails.

What personal information does Mensch process about you?

If you have a professional relationship with Mensch, we register and process only ordinary personal information and thus no sensitive personal information about you. We need certain personal information to administer your customer relationship with Mensch, as well as to provide targeted and relevant marketing to you. Mensch only collects the personal information necessary to provide you with the best and most individual service.

When you are a customer or have a professional relationship with Mensch, we – in addition to company information – as a minimum need your name, phone number and email address. In addition, we register information that is important for our service to you as a customer or potential customer, such as your participation in our professional events, URL to your LinkedIn profile and, for example, dates of when we have spoken to each other.

Personal information about you is registered partly in an accounting system (if you are a customer) and partly in a CRM system. We only store and use your personal information for as long as we have a legitimate and lawful purpose for processing it.

What is your personal information used for?

Mensch uses the collected personal information for the following purposes:

  • Customer support
  • Administrative purposes, billing, and service messages
  • Targeted communication, such as through newsletters, invitations to professional events, digital advertising
  • Personal contact
  • General marketing
  • Recruitment (if you are an applicant)

Marketing via email, SMS, and social media

Mensch only sends emails with marketing content to individuals who have previously subscribed to this and given their consent. In all emails containing marketing material sent from Mensch, you have the option to notify that you do not wish to receive emails in the future. You can also at any time notify that you do not wish to receive marketing material via email by sending a message to persondata@mensch.dk.

If you are a customer of Mensch and have provided us with your email address, we can send you emails with marketing content without your consent, provided that our contact concerns the products and services – or similar products and services – you purchase from us.

When you sign up for an event, a newsletter, or fill out a contact form on our website, you simultaneously consent to us contacting you personally with news, special offers and invitations. You provide a range of personal information, such as name, email address and mobile number. Mensch uses this information to contact you by email, SMS and via social media (such as Facebook and LinkedIn) with offers of other events, news and product offers that we believe could be of interest to you. Mensch does not forward your personal information to third parties. You can revoke your consent to receive newsletters and marketing via email, etc., at any time by following the instructions in the messages you receive or by contacting us at persondata@mensch.dk.

We use cookies, and here you can read why. A cookie is a small data file that we store on your computer to help you during your visit and to recognize you when you return. A cookie is not a program and does not contain viruses. Cookies are necessary to make the website work. If you want insight into – or have changes to – the personal information registered about you at Mensch, you must contact persondata@mensch.dk or call 33 13 19 99.

You can also object to our processing of data about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. If you wish to complain about our processing of your personal information, you also have the opportunity to contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.
