Everyone knows what a Tiger store is. At least in Denmark. But when it comes to exporting success, neither the brand nor its recognition can be taken for granted.
Firstly, because it doesn’t make much sense in Italy to boast about how much you can get for a Danish ten-krone coin. Secondly, because the word “tiger” cannot be registered as an international trademark. The solution was neither a zebra nor any of the many other suggestions, but rather the addition of a new dynamic that could make the tiger soar worldwide.
