The name is Eskesen. Bodil Eskesen.

There is communication in everything. For example, Mensch was once called Propaganda, and since then we’ve worked on many naming and identity projects.

One of these is Rigshospitalet’s new centre for brain and spinal cord injuries, initially given the working title “Neurorehabiliteringshuset.”

The name itself was challenging, but it also had to fit into a systematic nomenclature for all of Rigshospitalet’s departments, bring together two geographically and culturally separate units, and avoid confusion with the neurological centre.

The solution was the Bodil Eskesen Centre, named after Chief Physician Bodil Eskesen, a pioneer in neurological treatment who will always stand as a role model.
