Democracy

For many, democracy is the least bad form of government. But the tyranny of the majority isn’t very well suited to a thinking organization like ours. Instead of simple majority rule, we honour the enlightened principle: the best argument wins — even if it’s not your own. This may sound hard to pull off but we simplify matters by sticking to a rule stating that if things have been debated three times without being resolved, the debate ends.
