Always identify yourself when you answer. And don’t take a call while talking to someone else, whether in a meeting room or elsewhere. That goes for “just checking who’s calling,” reading a text, or anything similar. It’s not only extremely rude and distracting to the person you’re speaking with - It also breaks your own concentration, which, as we all know, is one of the skills we rely on most: the ability to focus.
