Assistants.
Normally, highly competent people have one or more assistants to help out. This may boost the ego, and make an organization grow. But we don’t believe intelligent people need a boss. That’s why we have just one, flat layer of people solving a task. That layer being chief. This might sound cumbersome, but we have learned that competent people solve a routine problem far quicker on their own, rather than having to spend time explaining the issue to others. Also, this tends to eliminate all errors and misunderstandings.
