Employee Development and Performance Review.

Once a year, you get a performance review with the Managing Partner. In part for you to be able to vent, but as well for management to be able to. There’s giving and taking, praise and critique. A good performance review also gives specific advice on how to further develop, and a discussion of salaries, which doesn’t necessarily translate into a raise. The annual review can’t ever supplant the daily dialogue. And if there’s something on your mind never be deterred by others appearing busy.
