Democracy.

In the eyes of many, democracy is the least worst form of political governance. But the dictatorship of the majority is not very well suited for what we do. Instead of a simple majority, we cherish the principle of enlightenment. That is,that the best argument carries the day. Even though it’s not your own. This may sound hard to pull off but we simplify matters by sticking to a rule stating that if things have been debated three times without being resolved, the debate ends.
