Responsibility.

We spend more time working together than most others, but we delegate responsibility to fewer people. This may sound contradictory, but the principle has proved its validity. On all tasks, it is defined who is responsible for its execution. Those responsible may then ask for help and advice, and discuss the task with all others, but without any obligation to draw on either help or advice.
