You’re entitled to a holiday. You definitely deserve it. But you have a duty to consider your colleagues once you plan your holiday. It’s your duty to see to it that your holiday period is approved. And it’s our duty to see to it that most people get the holiday that they want. At the time of writing, it is customary for us to close the bureau in weeks 29 and 30. As well, we try to close shop between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, but don’t take this for granted.
